Fear of childbirth and increase of caesarean section, has negative effects on pregnant women. The aim of this study was to study effectiveness of midwifery counseling based on solution-focused approaches on fear of childbirth. Materials and Methods: This clinical trial was conducted on 60 pregnant women at week 22-30, who had fear of childbirth and choice cesarean section, in 2016.  The women were divided in two groups by randomization intervention groups (Solution-focused counseling: 6-session) and control group (routine care). Before and after intervention, a questionnaire including demographic and midwifery information, performance and W-DEQ questionnaire was completed. Data were analyzed by t-test, Chi-squared test and mean and standard deviation in two groups.
