پزشکی فرد‌محور در سرطان‌های اورولوژی

پزشکی فردی یا پزشکی فرد‌محور (Personalized medicine) به مجموعه‌ای از فعالیت‌ها و رویکردهای پزشکی، تشخیصی و درمانی اطلاق می‌شود که بر اساس ویژگی‌های اختصاصی ژنوم هر بیمار صورت می‌گیرد. در واقع محور رویکردهای پزشکی فرد‌محور بر فردی‌سازی استوار است به این معنا که توالی ژنی و پلی‌مورفیسم‌های (SNPs) هر فرد با افراد دیگر متفاوت است و توجیه‌کننده‌ی سیر متفاوت سرطان‌های اورولوژیک و اثربخشی‌های متفاوت افراد به یک پروتوکول درمانی ثابت می‌باشد. بر اساس اطلاعات حاصل از پروژه ژنوم انسان و توالی ژنی به همراه اطلاعات پروتئومیکس، متابولومیکس و ترنسکریپتومیکس تعداد زیادی از بیومارکرهای مولکولی به عنوان اهداف بالقوه برای درمان‌های سرطانی هدایت شده پیشنهاد می‌شوند. در بدخیمی‌های اورولوژیک کربنیک آنیدراز نوع IX جایگزین هیپوکسی است که در سلول‌های سرطانی بسیار بیان می‌شود. بیان و اهمیت بالینی کربنیک آنیدراز نوع IX در سرطان مثانه کلیه و مجاری ادراری و هم‌چنین رویکردهای اصلی درمانی مورد بحث قرار گرفته‌اند. برای سرطان پروستات، شواهد موجود در مورد استفاده از آنتی‌ژن غشای پروستات و گیرنده‌های نوروپپتیدی آنالوگ نشاندار شده رادیویی و انجام مطالعات بالینی نیز در مراحل مختلف سرطان پروستات در حال بررسی‌های کارآزمایی بالینی می‌باشند. نتایج ورود درمان بیماران مبتلا به سرطان‌های اورولوژی از دیدگاه پزشکی فرد‌محور تحمیل هزینه کم‌تر به بیمار به همراه اثربخشی بیش‌تر درمان را به دنبال خواهد داشت
